Dr. Deanna Marinucci, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
The body functions as an intelligent system influenced by our movement, breathing, thinking, and responses to the environment.
I help individuals understand their own systems to foster confidence, encourage ownership of their health, and reconnect with their passions. Instead of targeting isolated issues, my focus is on restoring a range of options in movement, breathing, and nervous system function.
Each session is tailored to the individual and may include hands-on techniques, movement and strength exercises, breathing retraining, and educational support that promotes change naturally.
My integrated approach combines orthopedic physical therapy, airway and myofunctional therapy, pelvic health, and postural restoration, guided by Internal Family Systems (IFS). This perspective enables me to work with protective pain patterns in the body and nervous system, integrating them into movement practices.
I serve clients of all ages, from athletes to children- helping with pain management, performance, breathing, sleep, and resilience.
Based in Santa Cruz, California, I offer both in-person and virtual sessions.
